About Me #1

David Ellsworth Harper (Bud)
Born February 1942 and raised to:

Mr & Mrs Delbert Harper Sr.
My parents were Share Crop Farmers
RRT 3, Jasper Mills, Ohio

My birthed 14 children
I was raised with 3 brothers and 3 sisters
Russell, Delbert Jr (Red), Norman,
Florence, Wilma and Eileen

My father was an old fashioned minister and pastor of the “Christian Community Church” which was built at the time of my birth. Dad laid the corner stone of the church the same day I was born (the corner stone has my birthday on it!). Believe it or not, myself and my sister Eileen missed very few church services (Sunday mornings, Sunday nights, Wednesday nights and every night during a reveal or special services – I miss those days!). We were taught a lot about the BIBLE (NO REGRETS!).

My parents soon moved into the town of Washington C.H., Ohio so myself and my sister would have better school and they would be closer to the church at 804 E. Paint Street, Washington Court House, Ohio.
The first place I remember moving to in town was Elm Street in Washington C.H.

The last place where my sister and I were raised until we both married was 806 E. Paint Street, Washington C.H. It was considered a pastors home to the church and was built by my father and mother (well my sister and I helped a little!).

Yes in 1957 my father was having a Junior Camp meeting in a large tent in the back of the church ground and the speaker of that camp were Reverent Marshall and Nadine Smart of Dayton, Ohio. During that camp Marshall’s sister, Mary Arlene Smart, came to the camp meeting with her brother and sister-in-law. Well I met her and (Yes! I fell “heart over heals” in love with her!).
In November of 1959 we married!
We have 2 sons, David Ellsworth Harper Jr and Anthony David Harper.
We are now proud grandparents of 2 girls and 2 boys and great-grandparents of 2!

I was a toolmaker for more than 30 Years, then had my own business – HCA Advertising – in Dayton, Ohio, for 13 years. Letting Police, Sheriffs and Emergency vehicles, other signs etc.
We moved to Florida around 1993 and worked at various places. Worked for Tucker Machine and Steel as a Machine Operator and other work places for 13 years.
During that time I dreamed of this website many and many days and nights!
So I decided the time to dream was over and it was time to act.
Now we have wwbcsc.com

“in GOD WE TRUST” Yes for Mom & Dad & Me and my family.
